Ma Première École is a French-language pre-school. Our educators are fluent in French, and our curriculum helps children who speak English or any other language at home with their parents acquire French-language skills and become ready for elementary school.

Continuing the French Journey

Our community includes French-speaking, bilingual, and English-speaking families who share a common goal: giving their children the gift of French and the advantages of bilingualism.

We are pleased to help families explore opportunities for continuing their child’s bilingual journey beyond the preschool years.

Carole's work with children is a gift to the world. My daughter was in Carole's full-time care from 18 months until 4.5 years. We spoke no French at home, but over time, my daughter learned to communicate fully in French (with a beautiful accent). Carole provides the most secure and nurturing environment while she is devoted to children's education and development, and her impeccable standards cannot be overstated. She sees the unique ability and potential in each child - far beyond the potential that I could have recognized without her involvement. She went out of her way to create special experiences, making each child feel special, loved, and appreciated.

Carole Mindjimba has built her career encouraging children to learn in ways they love. She founded Ma Première École to offer local littles a different kind of pre-school experience — one grounded in French-language acquisition and personalized learning.

Carole draws on decades of experience cultivating interactive and experiential learning for children aged one to 12 in France and Canada. A registered Early Childhood Educator (ECE), Carole and her team put kids first, and create programming and experiences that allow them to learn French as part of a comprehensive pre-school education program, and prepare for kindergarten.
